Nagaland

Nagas reside in Nagaland as well as Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh states of India. Nagaland itself is one of the smaller states of India lying in the hills and mountains of the north eastern part of the country. The Naga people originate from different tribes that mostly lived in small isolated villages built on prominent points along the ridges of the hills. Naga jewellery is an important part of identity. I took these photographs in 2017.
